London-based improvisation enthusiasts Muck Spreader's laissez-faire approach to writing has seen the ever-evolving group thrive over the least year or two. With non-existent boundaries surrounding, style, genre and even who's in the band, 'Carnal Tongues' is a sprawling snapshot of the project's current incarnation. Pairing hypnotic beats with an ever-so-slightly funky bass line, expansive guitars and effervescent brass instruments mingle and interact beneath vocalist Luke Brennan's ritualistic vocals. Painting a picture as strange as the song itself Muck Spreader said: "Hop into the passenger side, hitch a ride into an abyss of sonic ecstasy.
